Why are we so proud of  this?

Luca Maroni, the most respected Italian wine sensory analyst on the world wine scene, judges every year hundreds of  wines for his Yearbook of the Best Italian Wines.  This guide has become a Bible for experts in the sector and food and wine enthusiasts.

Here is what he has to say about our wines:

Oriente Syrah 2019

It’s crystalline enological execution gives us a great gift: First to admire, then to enjoy, the limpid, authentic, original varietal of this grape. Syrah at these levels of enological clarity opens  the nose with a ringing note of flowers.  An expression of intense, high aroma, with  an olfactory brightness that also recall black and sour cherries.  Not an overly tannic  wine, but still a wine with a great concentration of tannins. Great fresh and enveloping pulp evokes the palate, outlining acidity, the smooth softness, the overall persuasiveness of its balanced and harmonious taste. Then its scent is smelled after swallowing:  here the excellence of the fruit  is the floral of its sparkling livery.

Concluding comments:  Excellent proposals from La Chimera d’Albegna.  The white Pashà and Suley 2020 are very soft, dense, sunny and yet fragrant thanks to the enological clarity. Even more olfactory, the Rosato Maremma Toscana 2020. Great extractive concentration characterizes and qualifies the reds. The balsamic, evolved Raffaello Sangiovese 2018, the soft, more vivid Merlot 2019.  A great wine,  the best, the Orient Syrah 2019: the sour cherry, the blackberry of the variety, shine  with invincible clarity, here in the guise of vanilla splendor so pure for the irreproachable enological  accomplishment. Congratulations.
