ProWein, the world’s leading trade fair for wine and spirits, is the largest industry meeting for professionals from viticulture, production, trade and gastronomy. It’s an industry get-together and wine producers from all over the world come to show their products. For the visitor, even an industry expert, it can sometimes be vastly intense, full of stands and regions to choose from.
Come discover Tuscany’s hottest upcoming wine region, which produces wines easily on par with other famous Tuscan regions and wines such as Chianti, Brunello, Bolgheri and Sassicaia.
In Maremma Toscana, wine has been made for over 3000 years; once the fascinating Etruscan civilization settled, flourished and made wine here in this region. La Chimera d’Albegna is located right in the heart of these former settlements. Winemaking is in our DNA!
In addition to ProWein, come visit our winery in summer. We are minutes from the sea and sandy beaches, thermal springs, and surrounded by rolling green hills. Enjoy our selection of reds, a fresh rosè, and our white made with Sangiovese (have you ever heard about it?), all while you take in the sunset over the sea.
But first stop by to see us at ProWein. La Chimera d’Albegna will be located in the Maremma Toscana Consorzio Hall 16, Stand E31. Owner and producer of La Chimera, Iacopo Becherini, will be there to welcome you and pour you a glass!
